Well, if a guy keeps posting noobish questions like this all the time they are quite surely noobs. And i meant to be rude, coz it just annoys me that some ppl can't SEARCH BEFORE ASKING!!!!
Well, if you'd really like to know, I did search on TDC. All i found was how to make "online hi-scores", which made me kind of angry because I don't even care for that yet. I also asked because on my older computer, I had a buggy games factory and the hi-score system never really seemed to work. But at least now I know, lol.
One thing to note about the built-in highscore object is that it won't work properly until you've compiled the file. It bases its data upon the name of the application that sends it, and while you're testing your program (while making it) it is compiled under a temporary name. Thus, each time you re-test, it re-compiles, and all the scores are lost.
...Or something like that. It should work properly when built as a stand-alone.
If you want to make a simple one, you can just make an event that checks if current score is higher than an ini entry, and if so, change the ini entry.
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -
