I ordered this book on amazon.com that includes a Games Factory 2 demo disc in it and I was wondering which is better? The original Multimedia Fusion or The Games Factory 2? If anyone knows then please post here.

"Make Amazing Games In Minutes" by Jason Darby.

I got this book for Christmas, it's very good

Especially that I get a fleeting mention (a TDC screenshot of one of my news posts (and Wongs))

The question you ask is kind of a tough one. Check out Chapter 2 of my convention article (www.create-games.com/article.asp?id=1599 ), I think most of the stuff told about there is featured in The Games Factory 2. However, TGF2 has no extentions I think. It's a basic tool to create games if you're on a budget - and when I mean budget, I mean a tightass, since nobody can afford NOT buy MMF2

TGF2 is effectively, summing up, a stripped down version of MMF2. Whether it's better than the original MMF is hard to tell.
