Isn't the list object (and the edit object) supposed to be able to open any kind of files in text mode, just like notepad. Appearently it can't, because I tried opening some BMP files and other picture files with it, but it just said something like "||BMP".
Because wouldn't I be able to pack together multiple files in another file, and then have another application to unpack them when needed, which would be ideal for storing external files (like pictures for the active picture object in a game) in one place.
But yes, my problem is that it doesn't seem to want to open those files properly, so if anybody knows how to do this, then please help me out here.

Hmm, well files like BMP are binary, not text. You just need some way to convert it to text, even if it's all messed up symbols, that's what programs like notpad do. Unfortunately, I have know clue how to do this ... uhh, i'll be going now. *Smoke suddenly comes from nowhere and I dissapear* *Evil laughing*
