Most of the people here will probably not care becasue you are happy PC users. As was I once upon a time. Anyway because I am now making movies as well I have converted to the Apple arena.
However I've still got a bit of the Games Factory blood in me. I sometimes wish I could click the apple toolbar and the Games Factory 2! would open. It has everything The Games Factory 1 didn't have that I dreamt about and now, years later, with a talented graphics and music friend who wants to make 'Strike-Down 4' with me, I figure I need the power my PowerMac G5 with 2.5GB of RAM can give me, all I need now is the software.
I can't go back to my PC laptop with Windows 98 and 32MB of RAM. You can imagine...
I don't want to have to use 'The Power Games Factory' a cheap version of 'The Games Factory' that works on MAC. So I put forward the idea to my friend Jeff Vance. He emailed back to tell me that 'they can't afford an Apple programmer at Click Team.'
Jeff dosn't understand that if he makes The Games Factory 2/Multimedia Fusion 2 etc. compatible with MAC that it will open up a huge range of people that will buy the programs and therefore pay off the MAC programmer and he'll even make a profit.
Then of course is the fact that the new macs can run windows software. That's the new macs! And I cant afford another one! Sob... Can't they just please make it compatible, I wanna make my game. Even if there is any smart programmers out there that know how to convert it to apple. Please do it!
Anyway that's my bitch.

If you wanted a computer that runs software, you shouldn't have bought a mac.

I had a look at CrossOver. It looks alright but cost a bit of $$$. Do you reckon if everyone from TDC sent a message to Jeff he'd consider doing it?

I dont think many people would bother doing that since MMF/TGF works fine for them...
