I'm sure you all know this, but Starcraft 2 has just been officially announced. IGN's got some video up.

I was hoping for Diablo 3, but knew it'd be Starcraft 2. Maybe the next huge announcement'll be ol' D3. Until then there's always Hellgate: London.

The Lost Vikings and Starcraft are the only Blizzard games I care about so I'm naturally happy at this announcement

I'm so getting it, once it's out. I still actively play Starcraft, it's truly one of the best RTS games ever.

I hear ya, not a huge Blizzard fan myself. Starcraft is alright, but I'm not the biggest RTS fan, truth be told, I'd rather play MechCommander 1 or 2 again. Or something with Capital Ship combat (Armada).
I keep forgetting that Blizzard was responsible for the Lost Viking though. I could care less about Diablo anymore; played WAY too much D1 back in the day and just can't bring myself to play it or D2.

The units look huge! I hope there's a zoom button or something, mass management looks difficult.

I thought that too. It's a bit Warcraft 3-like in that aspect. Let's just hope they manage to maintain the balance between units and races, because that's really what made the first game so great. I'm totally digging the graphics though. Omg, those battlecruisers

LOL AXEL (your sig )
The units' size are fine... Ok so it's a bit 'in-your-face' but its obviously like that to emphasize some factor, I think it looks great! We need more RTSs.
