'Hoy!

I'm looking for someone to make a handful of songs (MIDI format) for a small-ish game.

This game is an entry for the V-Cade spriteset competition ( http://vcade.indigobanana.com/forum/index.php?topic=269.0 ) that started some time ago and hasn't yet concluded. Y'know, that little competition whose end-date is based on the release of Vitalize 4, and so has already extended a good 7 months beyond its original timeframe. Yeah, that competition.

Anyway, my entry is a sort of shoot-em-up. I'm afraid I can't go into much detail or provide any screenshots (due to the competition rules), but it'll need lighthearted, preferably retro-style shooter music, along the lines of Gradius, or some such (the soundtrack of Gradius III actually fits quite well, except that copyrighted songs aren't allowed).
The game is four stages long, so will need one song per stage, along with boss music (2-4 different tunes), a title screen song, and a menu/weapon select song (which don't need to be very long). And a tutorial song is optional.

So that's... 8 to 12 songs.
I know it isn't usually in anyone's best interests to help with a project with as little information as I've given, but if there's anyone who has some interest in such a thing, I'll share the actual game, of course, and we can work from there. And it is a fun little game (or so I've been told).

Also, I can't really offer any payment, and the prize (should it be won) isn't exactly divisible, so this'll have to be just for the sake of making music for a game, if that's not a problem.

And that's it!
If there's someone out there who's adept at making music for such a game, give it a thought!

I might do some. The only problem is I still have to work on my entry.
