What do you think the smallest file size could be for a click game (after it has been compressed)
Do you think it could get below 100k and still be a reasonable game?
And can you do to make sure the file size is kept down?

I wrote a good article on this. Check my profile, I'm too lazy to look for it . I'd say about 3-7 MB's would be a good target for today's modems. Just don't put any videos or high quality music and you'll be fine.

A completely empty MMF game is still 6 KB.

There's your answer then
You probably can make one under 100k, just keep everything minimal - colours, graphics, events, and probably no sounds...

http://www.create-games.com/download.asp?id=6084 <- 170 kilobytes lol
I propose a contest. Make the best click game below a certain size, for example 700 kilobytes.
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -

I did forget to mention that the games would require some actual game.

I was thinking of creating a 1 dimensional game.
Could be fun.

Fires, I bet you never tried to compile any MMF(2) game with UPX. Because no game will run if you do (either a memory error, or "can't compress" error during compression). Edited by the Author.

@DaVince: Would that be why I was able to use UPX on Knytt Stories 1.0 (MMF Game) and it's working perfectly?
