Does anybody know a good music making software? Right now I'm using two songs from Jets N guns. Machinae Supremacy made both, and right now they're the best I've got.
I use noteworthy composer a lot. And I found that MidiMaker (Which everyone seems to hate) combined with audacity lets you create nice music with the effects of pitch sliding and crescendo\decrescendo etc..
I used Garageband and Logic for Satan Sam, Pineapple didn't do any tracks for that. I think he's using Cakewalk for the Tormi tracks though, with some of the earlier ones being done in Logic (and originally for another game anyroad). I'm using Logic for Tormi.
Logic is pretty damn good. I hate it to record my real music with it tho, and it's pretty expensive.
At the moment I use a combination of Logic, Cakewalk guitar studio, Synthfont and Cooledit pro for game music. Which is a drag.
ooer, people talking about me I suppose now is as good a time as any to come out of the woodwork. My weapons of choice are cakewalk sonar producer edition and audacity for Pc and if i ever get my hands on a mac again it'll be logic pro (whatever version they have now).
i'm a bit ominous about garageband and fruity loops and all really they strike me as being too "beginner package" for my liking... ooh look at me being music software lord snooty!

And MMF doesn't strike as being too "beginner package" for your liking?
Bitcrusher effect on Garageband and Logic is ace for that. Sometimes it's great to work on a realistic sounding orchestral track then throw that into individual channels for some funnage
Orchestra is awesome. Right now I use Mixcraft, however I haven't used it in a while. It's loop based so it's pretty limited. Here's some Music I made. It's not great but it's what I've got.
