I did this a while ago for one of my projects, I didn't quite like it at the end, since i couldn't find out a way to properly shade/texture the desert. I won't work on it anymore, but comments are welcome.

Hello! That's pretty freaking nice. I know nothing about art but perhaps some more defined lines on the centre-most tank would be nice. That seems to be a pretty small city (and an awful lot of artillery to attack it). Makes me wonder why they felt they needed to build those skyscrapers, with all that free land around. Or why they're building skyscrapers on sand anyway Lovely picture though.

The area that the "city" was built on is special because its the only area that has rock close to the surface of the sand to drive pilings on to support the structures. The reason its there is because its a secret military base which is why its being attacked in the first place! Haven't you ever heard of secret military bases in the desert? Oh and that's not much artillery compared to the amount inside the base!

I wish I could make art that good, looks awesome!
