My first playthrough was kinda touch and go until I got to hell. I found myself a minigun that just destroyed everything. Could probably use some final balancing, but it's damned close. Very impressive, especially considering it's a beta.
I just played through the whole thing. It was great.
After the first few levels, the levels up until the caves aren't that much fun. After that it is awesome, though. I didn't like Diablo much, either, since there really is no real level design. (the only thing that changes is the enemies)
The only thing it was missing was monster infighting, which I believe is a must for any DooM fangame.
