How do I create a shortcut using the file-folder object? Do I need some kind of special command line ?
Cant get it to work..

event->file folder object->misc->create shortcut->full path to item

Uhm, yea I can get that far. But it doesn't work.. I have an event when a file is being dropped. I take that files path and stuff but it doesn't create the shortcut
I can't fill in "command line arguments passed to shortcuts target" and "Working directory"

works for me
start of frame
create shortcut "C:\" blah blah blah file name of linke "C:\thiscomputer.lnk" blah blah blah
creates a link to C:\ inside of C:\ called thiscomputer.lnk
i left everything else blank. did you include the path to the link as well as the links name you wanted?

Okay got it to work now. It creates the .Ink file... but I can't open it ? :S can you open it and it works like a shortcut to the file??? Because I can't..

did you do the "c:\" "c:\thiscomputer" example? if you did just move the shortcut to the desktop and close the my computer explorer. double click and it opens it. works for me.

OMFG I always saw it as ink as an i OMG I can't see the difference between big I and small l !!! Thanks haha it works now

I always thought it was an I too! It wasn't until fairly recently that I realized it was lnk, which makes more sense.

I always thought it was an I too.. I bet like 80% of Windows computer users think so as well.
