I've finally got some free time to work on a game. I've been working 12 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week for while now. So, I click when I can. In this bit of free time I wanted to try to learn some of the basics that I've been missing. So first off I'll finally have MMF2 in a day or 2 so that probably means MMF3 will be out next year. I wanted to know if MMF2 can import TGF active objects. I have a couple of games that are just artwork that I was hoping to save. I also need to finally read up on the ini file thing and figure out in game menus.
This will be my test game if he MMF2 allows. I might call it Wizards or something like that.
MMF2 can open up TGF1 *.gam files with no problem - in fact I still "sprite" in TGF and then open them with MMF2 as I prefer the TGF1 editor . I refused to buy MMF 1.x, the GUI on the demo drove me insane.
Some extensions are not supported (DMC2) but most are (like the advanced maths object) but tbh MMF2 has a lot better inbuilt support for performing mathematical calculations.
I don't know anything about MMF3. I was just joking. Although I don't think MMF3 will be out for a while with the current planned releases like XNA and the Android runtimes.
I've got so many projects going on that I usually don't create a project page unless the game's about 60% done. I've got alotta pretty pics I could show from other games but this ones got my intrest for now.
Oh, and thanks Fish20 I really appreciate the compliment.
