Freaky moment happened today. I was in Fusion 2.5 and was comparing two Y-Co-ordinates and when I chose the object I wanted to compare to it appeared in the text box as "Y("Bad Object")" which resulted in a Syntax error.

I saved the file as a new version. I closed Fusion and re-opened it and tried to do the same thing again. Worked fine this time. I hope this bad object won't come back to haunt me! Do you think my file is safe now?

I recommend not to save any files in which you've had the Bad Object bug happen. Mainly because the memory misallocation might also be saved with it somehow, only to become a weirder or unsolvable problem later on. Every time I get any weirdness with MMF (mainly the corrupted-frame bug), I close and reload. I once saved the .mfa without noticing this had happened, and there was no way to be rid of it.

I've never had the bad object bug happen to me.

Am I using MMF wrong?

Me neither.
The only problem I have is with copying & pasting events, which occasionally causes MMF2 to crash (not very often, but often enough that I now always make sure I've saved the file recently beforehand).
