When I first started making games I made simple stuff like:

Breakout clone
Collect'em game where you have to run from baddies
Shoot-em-ups
Click-em-ups

And guess what... I still make these kinda games so I guess I never really got much better at it.

It doesn't matter though because I enjoy doing it and that's what it's all about.
