I don't really know why I'm posting this here, but I'll give it a shot:
When Logging in to my FTP account, it connects ok etc.. the Password and Username are recognised, but then everything stops with an error: "No Socket"
Thats all it says, now I've searched for help everywhere, read through all help sections of the software, but nothing has worked, so i'm coming to you guys for help..
I personally suspect some sort of corruption within the account but want to see other peoples opinions first, so PLEASE help!

I guess your using WS FTP...try cute i guess its something to do with misconfiguration or your server is playing up, hope thats some help .

hmmm, i've tried other software, but the same problem persisted so it must be my server or account..

Try enabling Passive FTP. Or if it's enabled, disable it, since it might just be the server saying it doesn't support it.
Failing that, give ftp.cdrom.com a try and see if you have the same problem.

I use SmartFTP( http://www.smartftp.com/ ), or would if FTP worked on my computer.

Other software just won't help i'm afraid, i'll continue my research into the matter.
