On mmf i click the new object then button object but when i click where i want it to go nothing appears there! it wont even show on the active object list

When you click a box is supposed to come up asking what you want the button to be like, click ok, and voila, done! I don't see how it doesn't work for you

It sounds like you are having lots of weird problems with MMF. Have you tried:
1) Reinstalling fresh from the CD
2) Checking for viruses (they can affect MMF a lot)
3) Removing any spyware (which could have a similar effect - use a program like Ad-Aware)

Do what Tigerworks said. Also, if your MMF is warez (because you are an evil b******d how is stealing a program that Clickteam made), it may have problums.
