I have a simple, but effective, battle system done. You can fight with up to 3 people at once against an enemy. Every round you can choose to attack, defend, heal or run. I'm playing about with it to ensure that each of the options has a purpose. At first, defend was useless since heal would restore health instead of just softening the next blow, but by making defend power up the next item you choose, it is now a really useful and tactical thing to use.
Now I'm going to focus on the rest of the game, adding enemies in throughout and making sure they're all balanced. I don't believe there is another RPG like this on the Daily Click. Especially not one inhabited solely by old men.
