Werewoof has worked very hard to produce more attacks and revamp the title screens, so you should all congratulate him! During the past few days, we have all been hard at work on this epic project. The three main things that were completed are:

Dead Reckoning System: The system predicts the path of the other players using minimal message sending to compensate for lag, overall boosting the smooth gameplay factor

Revamped Backgrounds and New Attacks: There are all new attacks and special attacks that will blow your mind! Big thanks to werewoof for working hard (he got up early for these )

Updater: I made an updater that will compare your version of the game and check to see if there is a new one. No more checking back online. In game, it will automatically tell you if there is a new version

Some insane stuff going on there :S but it looks like all the backgrounds are being neglected. Also the characters main sprites aren't all that detailed.

I know there's a deadline but it does look awfully rushed in places.

@AndyUK: It all looks better in-game. But seriously, when I face a deadline the first thing I do IS rush and get frantic. And I don't think I'd have time for extra detailed characters. 3-5 months, then possibly.

We'll see, maybe I'll put some more detail in them once the deadline is up. That way I'll be more motivated to once I get some time off.

And, sleep........

Adam. Hush. It's dark but by no means emo. Trust me.

Also, I would highly suggest looking into Dispatcher created by our very own - Vashcode6. It's fantastic, I plan to use it for almost everything I release now.

Nice graphics! You've sure all put a lot of work into this. Some of those characters and their attacks are pretty big though (taking up the whole screen) is that going to be a problem in game? I hope it's not too spammy

Those gigantc attaks are their specials. You'll only be able to use them ever so often.

will there be zombies coming out from the GIANT FREAKING gravestone? Its' pretty rediculous but I love it
Also, will the players be able to fight against same characters with different color scheme?

Haha, thanks all.

@SiLVERFIRE: Only the menu is really dark styled (so far). It was intended to have a funky, more cartoony air to it but then... some switch got flipped. Everything I make regardless of style eventually leans towards something dark. Ugh, it's like gravity. I guess we can consider Dispatcher, but if it isn't open source then I can't add any special graphics to it. We'll see though.

@AssaultAndy: Thanks! But yeah, the attacks are pretty big. The screen fillers are the specials- these are the ones no one can dodge, and do assured damage. The special bar fills up after dealing damage to the enemy. once it's full, you can unleash your special. Alt attacks are like specials, but they can be used once every 30 seconds, and don't require creaming people to fill up their bars.

@Shiru: Thank ya! I'll be putting in more characters in the next build. I'm not sure when that'll be, but it'll happen. Regardless, your's will be added. The engine is made with the PMO btw, so the engine basically IS released!

@Marko: Awesome to hear! Thanks, mate!

@Blue66: Thanks, man! The gravestone is actually GunGirl's alt attack, so while I do like the idea of zombies coming out of the gravestone, I'm not sure we'll have time. I COULD however draw some zombie hands coming out along with it, though.

Once again, thanks a million all! I'm taking the day off from spriting. I'm probably gonna go find some music to go with the project.

Thanks, Muz. Yeah, Sumo said the same thing about Stephen. I guarantee you though, he's not emo. He's half human, and half dark wolf from a curse bite. Before then he was a normal person living a normal life.

Also, emos don't try and slash you then enjoy your blood.

Like I said, I wouldn't say it was emo... however don't take that as a bad thing. I am being genuinely honest here whenever I say I absolutely love the style.
Seriously, if that menu is the only dark menu, I'd come to a point where I'd almost say it's quite a pity and that you should add more. It looks fantastic.

all the levels wont be dark. Most of the levels will be themed off of known klik characters. Like Blobs cheery colorful levels.

@SiLVERFIRE: Much appreciated, dude. I don't think emo is a bad style either. I think emos themselves are absolutely pathetic, but I have to say that their hairstyles can be pretty wicked.

The first menu, the "Enter your user name" menu, is actually fairly vibrant at first, but then once you hit to accept button it quickly turns to darker tones. (Like that old 70's movie "Ringing Bell") That's when the character selection screen comes, and then the lobby. All of them are pretty dark overall.
