I know I said I'd get the AI done yesterday, but the misses came home yesterday from her trip, and well, you know.
So, there it is, they're fully functioning like I wanted them to. They'll chase you, and once they approach you, they'll choose to either attack, block, duck, run away, or nothing, and each has a certain percentage attached to it. It's pretty versitile, so I can switch it up pretty easily.
By the way, the enemies in the video have an increased ammount of health, for testing purposes. Plus poking them with a sharpened wooden stick doesn't do too much.
I forgot to mention last time that I have a small combo system set in place similar to the jumping system in Mario 64. If you hit the button at the right time for each combo, you'll go onto the next step in the combo. So button mashers, that means if you mash on the button, it'll disable the next combo. The AI also abide by these rules.
I also put in a system that allows the user to choose the controls. Neat.
Next step is the inventory system.
If you guys like what you see here, feel free to check out Halloween Candy(Do Over). It's out now, and it's just dying to have someone play it and post some feedback.
Other than that, let me know what you guys think of the video.
