So now that I'm back at this project, I'm spending a few hours a day on this just like I did with AMWAM and I have to say, the sensation is good.
Lately I've been watching as many football matches as I can in order to try to understand exactly what makes the sport so intense and so emotive and try to convey this into Football Live.
I won't go into what conclusions I've come to because I'd be here all day and I haven't finished with my little investigation yet, but I think it is definitely something the FIFA and PES/Winning eleven dev teams should do.
Other than this I've been working mostly on the AI and the ball physics, as well as fixing bugs.
Watching football games has helped a lot in the ball physics department too, and while I'm not going for a simulator kind of game, I think it's very important that the ball behaves realistically. There are a few different balls with different weights and behaviors, of course including the much maligned Jabulani (though with a slightly different name for legal reasons).
But well, just a few little touches and the first testing phase is ready to begin.
