Thought i would show the world the level editor im working on currently for Sweezy Gunner.
I decided that without a level editor and external level loading that this game would be dead in the water due to massive file size (as discussed in the forums)
Currently its going concerningly well with everything working as it should (fingers crossed that continues.) and is currently around 50% complete with most of the UI finished, just trying to perfect the save load stuff.
The best part of the level editor is it is NOT grid based and as such will give me huge amounts of room to design organic and diverse levels. A snap to feature is available if wanted which is useful for lining up terrain tiles.
I may add it to the finished game as it is currently fairly user friendly but ill have to wait and see on that one.
However at this rate once the editor is completed this should bump the completion level to around the 40% mark which would be awesome.
