The SNES ones weren't really all that difficult. Yeah, Sigma is stupidly cheap (Still nothing like Omega from the Zero series though) but the rest of the games aren't that hard...
As far as the difficulty goes, it's variabled. There will be two (possibly three) difficulty modes that the player can select at the title screen.
Similar to X8 fashion, the selected difficulty will alter what cutscenes you see. The final boss will not be encountered in the easiest difficulty. Lastly, an easter egg boss may be available in the hardest difficulty (how to access him/her/it is still up in the air).
Any suggestion/opinions/compliments are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
The SNES games difficult? Hardly. Play the original Mega Man and try facing off against the Yellow Devil WITHOUT the use of the pause glitch. That, my friend, is difficult. Hell, even the first MM Zero game was more difficult than the SNES X games. (Without Cyber elves, mind you. But then again, acquiring some of the elves was a pain too).
Difficulty is definitely something that can make or break a game. I don't want any of my bosses to be cheap, nor do I want them to be "run up and hit 'em as fast as you can" easy.
When I mentioned the difficulty modes, I had in mind that in normal mode, every enemy's stats would be at the normal setting. In Easy Mode, they would be halved. In Hard Mode, they would be triple the Normal Mode setting. This wouldn't make any boss cheap or overly easy, because every boss has a certain way of attacking. If you're not careful, it could take a serious toll on your character. Think Magma Dragoon from X4.
You guys will have nothing to worry about when it comes to the difficulty factor.
If there's anything else on you guys' minds, don't be afraid to ask!
