Yes I agree. I always wanted to make a fighting game, and attempted many times. MISSION FAILED FOR ME.
I want to make my own characters and such. Plus I don't want to use MUGEN because then people will add their own characters. That isn't considered an original game that way.
This whole project is unbelievable... mega kudos to you dude!
I hope you can finish this
Also, the video is unbelievable... those attacks and reaction animations are looking GREAT
This thing is gonna spawn some nice MMF2-made Tournament Fighting games if it plays as well as Street Fighter II: Turbo for SNES did. Back in the day, before Mortal Kombat came around, that was my favourite Tournament Fighter.
As a matter of fact, I actually still have the SF2: Turbo cartridge sitting in the other room.
It would be really fantastic if you could make an online computer to computer version too so all TDC-ers could play against eachother. Is there anything similar to the V-Cade out for MMF2 yet? .. They should make it so you can get on there and wait for an opponent to enter ... it could be like a real arcade then instead of highscore garbage.
Then you could message someone active on TDC, and if they wanna play, both of you head to the game.
We're all rooting for ya Mr Green!
My 2.5d Platforming project has similar aspirations as this (I want to see more beatemup genre games and the new genre I came up with <2.5d Platforming>
I've currently hit a few snags though, 2 glitches I still don't know how to fix.
Blood of the Ancient One, Seen only as Shadow, Faster than Lightning, Fierce as the Greatest Dragon, Nearly Invisible, Floating in a Dream, Entered through the Demon Door, Destroyer of Evil in a Realm with a Red Sky Scarred, Who could I be ?
