I am a fan of Star Trek, however, I'm more of a fan of Star Trek games. Bridge Commander is a spectacular game for example.
Though it all comes down to liking scifi and massive ship to ship battles. There are THOUSANDS of hours of star trek, probably the most content of any single scifi series. It's ridiculous.
Also yeah, I gave my engine over to Pisarz from my own somewhat aborted trek game. It was more of a framework than a full engine, but it seems to have helped out, which is much more than it was going to do sitting on my hard drive. I have played every trek game he has made, and they keep getting better; which is why I am anticipating this game so much.
