A little fan game I made dedicated to a game that everyone I'm sure remembers... Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

I know for me it was a favorite growing up in the 90s, along with Wonderboy and Sonic.

I gave up working on this after 3 levels due to inexperience at a proper resolution, all the same I uploaded it.

Controls are;

Shift - Jump

CTRL - Punch

Space - Menu

This is a pretty good replica of the Alex Kidd experience! Extra life for releasing the ghost, awesome! Good luck with your next project!

This is great stuff. Really playable and good fun much like the original only slightly easier to control. Way too many ghosts for my liking though.

This kind of thing I like to see.

Pretty nice. Aside from a few odd glitches and oddities, not bad.

I found these problems:
- Game locked up for me after losing a bunch of times (might just be Wine though - running this in an implementation of Windows inside Linux).
- In the second level, after dying, Alex got stuck in the air somehow. I could see jumping animations, turning and punching, but movement seemed to be disabled at this point.
- The music played only once for me, it didn't loop or anything. Maybe Wine again?
- There's one or two notes in the music that aren't *quite* matching up to make the song sound the best it could. Nothing big.

Overall, pretty nice. Reminded me of Tops the Pig, but that was probably inspired by Alex Kidd anyway.
