About

Zenek is a witness of kidnapping his wife. Not very brave hero decides
to search for his wife. Zenek gets help from his grandpa who teaches
him the magic.

Zenek Zombie is a platform game with elements of adventure and role play.
Player takes a role of Zenek who is looking for his kidnapped wife. He
walks through the world full of enemies collecting money and diamonds.
You can use money to buy some healing potions, buy new lives, gain higher
magic level. Diamonds can be also gathered by finishing quests throughout
the game.

yeah, the font is readable even though the "a"s look like blocks. It fits the game, don't change anything.

This game gets the thumbs up for having the best text ever. And I'm not saying that to be sarcastic or to put down foreign English, it just is fantastic. "And I was going to play with jigsaw puzzles..." That's gold. And I haven't even played it yet.

Cave Story has a playmate. No, I don't think I'm pushing it with this comment.

Love the talking, the music, the sound effects, the effects (doors opening = <3), the game. It's all a big ball of success.

I'm desperate to find out what that Zenek Bochenek(sp?) means. Seeing it behind the train made me go WTF.

I like it! It's very fleshed out (I attribute the English errors to Zenek being a zombie), and fun to play. One thing though: I died at one part, and when I respawned, my character was BEHIND the background.

Grammar and other errors in spelling are present also in Polish version. Consider it as a climate-building attempt

After all, Zenek is a zombie.

Zenek-Bochenek could be translated as Zenek-Bottleneck to preserve nonsense and rhyme.

Oh, looks like there is a problem with the font sometimes. First time I ran the game, the font wasn't antialiased correctly and barely readable, but second time things looked just fine.

On a couple of occassions there will be no text in the balloon. I was lucky with the 300 coin choice because I chose no blindly and got the best magic from the guy later on!

Okay, I finally tried this game out on a computer that didn't have admin restrictions. I like a lot about this game- the graphics are good, the presentation is awesome, the parallax effects are great, the humor is GREAT, and I like how everything and its mother has a particle effect when it's destroyed. There's nothing wrong with the font aside from the rare occasion I couldn't read what one or two words said.

However, and I'm being honest here, I got sort of bored when I played it for any length of time. I think a lot of it has to do with the repetitiveness of a lot of the worlds and their enemies. What was worse was that I really got the idea that this whole game is utterly huge, and that I'd have to play through these same types of great big levels forever in order to finish the game, and I don't think I'd have the patience to. (The secret areas are cool though, I did manage to find 3 of them so far.)

I did put in about an hour or two playing ZZ, and there's too much that's good with it to give a thumbs down just because it's not my cup of tea, so I won't vote at all to make it fair. It's a solid platformer with good ideas and great humor. I liked the music a lot too. I have lots of respect for someone like you who chooses to do it all with your own game (program, music, graphics, story). Good job!

Damn those skeleton dogs! And I think I recognize some of the sfx from Little Fighter 2...not knocking it, of course.

Plus, the Ghost who gives you the mission to collect the crystal shards was hilarious.

It was good, but I thought the movement (while VERY solid) was kind of basic.

A tip for future dialogue scenes; When you can't squeeze it all into one speach bubble, make it obvious that you're going to flow to the next one.

Most RPGs that I know do stuff like a "-->" or "..." on a new line.

Yeah, Zenek rules! You seem to really understand color - nice graphics! I wish all these excellent games were something other than side-scrolling platformers, but oh well - if they're good, they're good.

Great game you got here..

but you got 2 problems in the game:

1)Not enough action (that makes me bored a bit

too early)

2)the spelling mistakes and grammer,
