This is a 360 degree shooting test for my upcoming game Hazard. Graphics were done by Janne (aka Turrican). There are 2 bugs. [s]The tip of the gun "Pastes" itself into the background around the edge[/s], and the Mozzleflash sometimes doesn't show up.

UPDATE:
Sorted the pasting bug. The code is still made with a bad engine, but i'm implenting a better one. I unfortunatly cannot work this week but i'll be back on the 3rd of November.

I'm making a game with the same sort of control system.

Have you got anti-aliasing on the character? Some times that can paste bits of it into the background.

As for the muzzle flash, I'd recommend making it so that every 00:01 add 1 to alterable value B, when alterable value B is greater or equal to 3 , destroy muzzle flash. I'm not sure how you've done it but this method works for me.

yeah its pasting for me too! This sorta engine is good to be released open source to people can help you improve it!

I'll add more weapons and try to sort out the bugs, then rerelease it, maybe open sourced.

We should implement a feature that allows rating only to people who actually downloaded the game. Maybe even make this a requirement for posting a comment too. I'm getting sick of this sort "Looks cool!" comments.
