it probably seems that we are being too critical because a lot of people can't take critisism with a pinch of salt and go mental if their game isnt praised.
I guess some people could word their critisisms better.
I like to make fun of my games simply, because I know they suck. So if you tell me they do; atleast I know you know the difference between a good and bad game.
Yes. You need to understand that on the internet many people say all kinds of things that they would never say to someone's face. It's unfortunate as all hell but it's just the way it is. You just need to gloss over there comments and laugh at them like I do. It's even better when you have a friend over and you mock the person together. These people also tend to not post much in the forums... interesting. They avoid confrontation even if it is over the net.
But it is also important to tell exactly WHY a game is bad. The only thing I got to know what was wrong with my last game was that my desktop was visible in the screenshots.
anyway, I agree- there's a difference between constructive criticism and saying OMFG THIS PEICE OF F*** STINKS!!! which is what people normally do.
Maybe they don't normally do it, but I've seen scarce evidence of anything else.

I would never try out for american idol because i know i would be brutally insulted and humiliated in front of thousands of people.
That's why I feel no guilt laughing at the suckers who try out for it.
