I know a lot of people here are from the Scandinavian part of Europe (partucularly Sweden and Denmark) and I was just was just wondering if anyone here like Scandinavian punk or rock music. I am not Scandinavian (or European for that matter), but I do like a lot of Swedish and Finnish bands (and tons of bands from the UK but thats another story). I like everything from the fast hardcore punk of Kaaos to the soft and catchy rock of Komeda. However, my favorite is a fairly well known punk band called Millencolin. Are there any other fans out there?

Mine too. It's good news that Stratovarius are getting back together after Timo Tolkki's drinking problem, being stabbed, and so on. It took me a while to get in to Nightwish, particularly the harsh vocals on some tracks (Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean, The Pharaoh Sails to Orion) but now I really enjoy them.

Interesting. After doing some research of these bands they don't sound too bad. They're both really fantastical metal sounding.... not really my thing, but maybe I should give them a try.

InFlames and Hammerfall are two of the best rock groups Sweden has in my opinion.
