I submitted a game (M-X demo) to DC downloads, but it doesn't appear in downloads! However, if i go into a page of one of my other games "M-X demo" appears in the "other creations" box and i can access from there.
But people won't download my game if they can't see it. Have i done anything wrong? If not can some one from admin sort this out for me please.
Cheers

Um, don't panic. Everytime a game is submitted, it ends up in a waiting list to be checked out by the admins. We just haven't gotten round to accepting your game yet. Don't be so impatient.
That being said, of course, you have submitted loads of stuff recently. This is almost like spamming and generally frowned upon by the admins.
when i submitted my first game, i suddenly saw the text "YOUR GAME HAS BEEN SUBMITTED, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE APPROVED BY AN ADMIN BEFORE APPEARING ON THE SITE"
i just fell off my chair and wondered what the hell i had just done
Shab has already made an attempt to accept the game, but he found the link didn't work - this comment has been posted on the download page. Once it's fixed the download will be tested again.
-> click: user admin -> my downloads -> the name of the game -> there should be a small blue [E] under the description where you can edit your download.
This may be off topic, but what if DC was set up like newgrounds where people submitted stuff and it would either stay or get "blammed" off the site depending on how good (or bad) the submission is. I'm not saying that DC should do this though. It's just a random thought that came to mind while reading this. I'm not even sure if that would work anyway in this sort of site, but it could possibly be less work for the admins and DC would have more quality games (maybe).
If I had the time or money to make a klik site I would try something like this.
I'm not entirely sure about the details of the Newgrounds system (is it a case of enough negative votes removing the download?) From what I've seen of it, the system seems to work, though a couple of things do slip through the net.
However, the main reason for having the admins check downloads first is for just checking that the download has a decent description, hopefully screenshot, and that the link works (and doesn't point to anything malicious) rather than quality control.
