What a tool. Serves him right for being such an idiot. The longest I can play a game is probably about 3 hours, yet all I play are adventures games.

He didn't die from playing video games, he died from an extended period of fatigue resulting in cardiac failure. Same thing would've happened had he been fishing or reading. 50-plus-hour gaming sessions aren't really uncommon. Healthy people can do it without a problem.
That article is wrong on some details, by the way. He did in fact have a few naps in a makeshift cot he set up in the cafe. I'll see if I can find a better article later.

It does mention in the article that it was exhaustion. Yet again, the media is wrong again by blaming computer games for the death.
I didn't know he took a few breaks though, so I guess I'll take back the tool comment, yet he's still an idiot for pushing himself that far.

Snerlin: I've done 12 hours for $5, I'd say Korean LANs would have to be pretty competetive.

Since he's korean, probably dragon, LT, and the other korean pro maps. Maybe blue night. In 50 hours you'd have a fair go at most of them.

I love not having a numpad. I have to copy and paste my umlauts.
I know there should be an umlaut in that. It's like trying to say 'lisp' when you have one.
