isnt it ILLEGAL to sell things which you can get for free? i mean they didnt even CREATE those cartoons.

Yea, clickgamer.com has some pretty crappy stuff on their site. I have no idea why someone would actually pay money for some of those games. It wasn't my choice to allow that particular site to distribute the game though...

Of course not. Seller determines the price, and buyer decides whether to buy or not. You can try to sell anything (with rights to do so + otherwise legal stuff) for any possible amount of money. If a competing firm sells a product for 1 €, nothing stops you trying to sell the same item for 1000000 €. The law of demand & supply takes care of anything else!
Well ok, I did exaggerate a bit.. However, in this context, and generally too, it's not illegal to sell something you can get for free. So, let's put it this way: a competing firm sells something for 1 € (or for free), then you can freely try to sell the same item for 100 €.
Your analogy is super flawed. There's a difference between selling something in a competetive environment (in that example, either the underseller would be in violation of anti-competitiveness laws, or the overseller would be an idiot) and charging money for things in the public domain.
Laws vary from country to country, and I don't feel like looking at that site or looking it up, but generally it's fine to charge some kind of service fee for accessing public domain stuff. So if they're doing what I think they're doing it's cool.
