Okay, so I'm making a status-bar section for a life meter, attack guage, etc. I want to put it at the top, but in 320x200 it takes up quite a bit of screen space.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't use a non-standard resolution like 320x240? It seems to work fine at 320x240, but I don't know if this will somehow cause problems down the line...

it's actually the best screen resolution for older computers but when it comes to newer computers with people who like to set their resolutions to 1600 x 1200 then run 320 x 240 resolution games will have a REALLY hard time trying to see the game, unless you have the option of making the screen larger or making it full screen

320x240 is a 4:3 ratio display mode and should work fine on virtually all monitors.

@Sensation:
Well, yeah, it's going to be full screen.
I suppose I'll just go with it for now and see if it messes anything up.
