ok, so I am struggling with having my character rotate 360 smoothly. I have the swimming engine and all that done. But I want so if you press up+right and he's in right direction, that he rotates smoothly to upright position. Any suggestions?
I tried playing with direction calculator and advanced direction but I can't seem to get to work. Any help is great appreciated. Oh and this is for a platformer.
Thanks in Advance,
Newt

Ya. MMF2 has a auto rotation for when you are running the game ^^. (quiet nice actually)
Oh and set the hotspot and action point to the center of the object too.

Have a 'current direction' variable and an 'intended direction' variable. Always set the direction to that of 'current direction' but have the player's input act only on 'intended direction'. When 'current' and 'intended' are different, add or subtract from 'current' slowly.
