Is there an extension/way of checking if the cd door is open/closed. For example a condition: CD Door is open. If there is can someone post how to do it/what extension to use.

Yup, easy.

You need the CD-Audio object, its packaged with MMF.

Then create a counter.

COUNTER = 1: Open CD door
COUNTER = 2: Close CD door.

There isn't a specific event that goes along the lines of "CD DOOR IS OPEN" but just compare an action to the counter.

You need to be more specific then... I've told you the best way I can think of. Maybe you just haven't worded your question correctly?

In that case Ploo probably not - I'm not sure whether "the big box" extension has that? Otherwise it's a good request for an extension.

well if you use the 'compare two values' function you can check the no of tracks and some other stuff.

maybe you can use 0 tracks as assuming it's open and anything more than 1 as the cd door is closed?

That's a good idea, but you'd need to pair it with a "Is CD inserted?" Condition, or else it would treat NO CD as Open.

No :/ not the cupholder idiot. I will try explain again and maybe you will find an alternative solution.
There is a button that does the function of eject. When you click you toggle a flag. When the flag is on the tray opens. When its off it closes. Eveyrthing works fine until:
1. You open the tray before the start of the program. Then it closes itself :/.
2. When you open the tray while the program is running manually then the tray will close :/.
im thinking of two solutions but im not sure how to do it.
1. If there was an extension that could check the current state of the tray so at the start of frame if the tray is open turn the flag on straight away.
2. Maybe an extension with function Open/Close CD Tray. Then if the tray is open it will close. and if its closed it will open.

Now that i explained the problem more clearly i hope someone will be able to help me out.
