Alright, remember that awful 3-D pacman game I made in TGF? No? Good. What? Exactly.
I've decided that since I've got MMF2 I'm going to try and make a 3-D Pac-Man that's actually 3D..
I've got the engine fine in Mode 7 EX, but I'm not sure how I'm going to map the dots and enemies.
Here's what I have so far.

You probably ought to make a decent pacman movement first.

Phizzy showed me a screenshot and his is indeed in 3d polygons.
Hold on a minute... Mode7 in mmf2? i didn't know that was available yet.
Yours works Bibin, but now you need to make it better, quite a lot better actually.
Also that camera angle is fairly poor since you need to see the ghosts at all times really.
Try a tilted view that is zoomed out a bit more.

I started teleporting left and right and somehow ended up in a corner, you might want to fix that.

Right... The mode7 part is rather nicely made. Mode7 is pretty easy to use, but it's still rather limited, you'll notice that later on. However, the movement engine is quite crappy. It's either the built-in 8-dir movement, or a really awful custom one. You really should improve that.
Hmmm, I saw that you used quite a lot of height mapping and fog, still, it run perfectly. Which is strange, because I remember mode7 being really slow on this machine, at least when using lots of height mapping/fog/interpolation. But I guess it's because the map itself is rather lo-res.
It's gonna be interesting to see the full game though.

I agree, it was decent, and the performance was flawless. The only problems I had, was like axel, the movement was very poor, and also... I couldn't see anything behind me. So if a ghost was to show up, I would have no idea. Might wanna fix that.

Well you don't have eyes on the back of your head so you'll have to turn around.

Hm... Yeah, but it'd be a lot easier if he was in the center of the screen, instead of having the camera right up his arse =P

Yes, that movement sucks, it's the default and has already been replaced.
I'm definetly going to zoom this out.
