Well I haven't gone too far with it, but as you all may know with online, the beginning is the most difficult part. I've had this project for a long time and I've been testing alot of ways to solve things, and eventually made it work exactly as I want it to. I have a link here of all the files necessary to host your own server and to connect to the server you may test the client on. I will be in there so you can see that it is possible to see other characters move.
The Zelda sprites that are in this game are all temporary, and I wish to have them replaced with real sprites, and let all the character be double the size of that link character. I don't really demand a coder, but I do need people to decide how everything should be for me. AlphAdapt has it's own discussion board at www.martin2k.co.uk/forums, we have a server to use with the game server, along with a proficient FTP (no webdomain however, the group is only 3 people, and I am most active).
You don't have to understand everything, some of the things aren't even effective and I change them to the way I want them to work along the road. All you have to do is open the WireFrame Client v0.03 CoolDown edition, and change the Username and Password to what you would like to have.. Just tell me that you're interested and I'll create a quick account for you.
And btw, the IP you connect to is 195.66.52.214, and using a router might not work as you may be having problems seeing other users.

Why don't you add a create account button so that we can test the game without having to ask you first? I type in a random username and password, I connected to your server, but obviously could not log in.
Username and Passwords will be linked to a database later on that a website with a registration form will use to add user accounts. I find it not as well to make a 'Create User' feature through the game, as people would be able to add delimiters in their username and screw it up. Ill just create a username and password for you.
User: demo1
Pass: demo1
Ive created same thing for demo2, demo3, demo4, and demo5 for usage of you all.
BTW This version appears to be flawed >_< Just because I added the obstacle engine today without testing it properly. I will fix this tomorrow, all you can do at the moment is move around in the server as one person but not with others. Also, I did notice your login attempt.
I've solved the thing, but to be honest to myself, I don't think being able to move around in an area with other people is impressive enough to find some really good spriters.. I think I will continue working on the game and let you guys know when you can at least swing a sword and fire some arrows.
Edit: I already have a guy who can make the interface for me, so don't worry about that. All I need is spriters.
Other then that I just finished a new alpha version and tested it with a friend of mine. If you exclude the very jerky movement atm and that the stone obstacles isn't working exactly as I need them to, it has potential as I know how to fix all those things, Im just busy planning the whole game right now and organizing the code abit (although I always make it organized). If you're still interested, I can either work some extra on my alpha version or let us test it right this moment as it's being hosted 24/7 on a server I have at my disposal.
I was saying off hand that Harima Kenji rules. I can't try out your MMO game cause of the stupid blocking software here at work, I'll try it when I go invade my parents house on christmas.
Been taking 2 weeks break from Clickteam in order to get a new view, and now I'm back on track and I just solved a great problem I had before I took a break.
The beta is coming to you guys sooner or later, just know that it's far from over.
