Just a little challenge - If you claim to have a fast PC, gimme a race!
My fastest time calculating 1M (million) digits of pi is 17 seconds. If you wanna have your go at beating me or someone else here then download the file from the page below, extract all files and open the exe. Then click "calculate" to 1M and run it
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=36
To attain your fastest time you may want to close down all other processes / applications possible too. Bring on the timings! Beat me I wonder?

53 seconds. Bah and humbug.
I should point out that this doesn't measure your overall speed as such reliably, as it's only one class of calculation. It's rather just how good your processor is at calculating pi.

Haha. I just realised what I actually said... nah I got 17 secs too. I didn't think it'd do that well to be honest. Core 2 Duo here.

Sadly I bought my processor about a week before dual cores suddenly exploded all over the place.
