Wow... there's been so few games lately. About one a day. I remember a time when there were so many games, we actually had to get 3 admins to deal with the influx . But now, there's so few games that it looks like a SCREENSAVER will win GOTW..
And it's been pretty slow lately, 2 games for two GOTWs in a row isn't good.

The community goes through its ups and downs, probably not disimilar to the summer games drought we always get in the UK. Also, members join and leave the community all the time, so there IS always new blood, dipping their toes into the stagnant waters of TDC and are very competitive... they might not want to release their games in case they get embarrassed/picked on.
Summer games drought is just coz all the game companies have their deadlines targeted on Christmas but a few pop up in spring because they missed it, lol. Any game done by summer would be pumped through QA and released in late fall.
Hmm... I blame the DC Christmas competitions for the klik game drought

I think this might be caused because there's a lot of people switching to proper programming languages like Blitz, mostly because of the 3D possiblities.
