Everyone, round of applause for Flava, for giving this place features it should've had long ago.

Now add an e-mail notification feature if people reply to posts or send you mail.

I'll look into the email notification thing - and make it optional obviously. The only problem I have with it is that I'm not sure you can actually send email with asp - Clubby had to pay for some service to do it with the forgotten password page (hence why it doesn't work anymore). I'll look into it though.

I plan on altering the reviews system a bit today, which might increase interest in them a bit, and also adding that forum quote feature which I should have added a while ago.

If you have any other little ideas, or if there is something on the site that bugs you (like spelling errors and such), feel free to post here or send me a message.

That was for the "Latest posts" thing on your profile - the hover colour thing happens automatically for links. I can remove it if it bothers you though?

EDIT: I've removed the hover thing

Can we add CSS to the quote area? :\ like a coloured, dotted outline or something to help seperate it from the other text in the post? A background colour wont really work due to all the different skins..

Yes it will, as long as you have a secondary colour defined to use in the CSS files.

Yeah I know, but then you'd have to set a contrasting colour for every skin's css - which is feasible but just annoying to have to do - thats all.

No, it's not. So if nobody is going to give a reason why the posts were deleted, then I'll just put it back up.

I don't want to start a fight, but I really don't like it when admins delete posts without giving a good reason. Especially when they cover up for Phizzy. Somebody could have at least said something like 'Post deleted, Phizzy has been warned', and I would've been satisfied. You can't ignore these kinds of posts.

I don't like it when admins show abusive behaviour. NEVER EVER delete posts without giving a good reason.

I think the reason was quite obvious here: stop a pointless discussion and/or flamewar from happening.

Yes, I deleted the posts, they're off topic, much like these ones are now. I dont have to give a reason for deleting posts, if they dont follow rules they'll be removed, adding another post saying why they were removed kind of defys the point of deleting something thats off topic, only to raise another off-topic post in its place.

This is suppost to be for your own enjoyment, if you prefer to have crap, useless posts left strewn all over the place then please let me know, otherwise posts that have nothing to do with the topic and are either offensive or pointless will be removed from topics, as with any other forum.

If in future you wish to know why a post has been removed please dcmail the admins for an answer rather than asking on the post itself as it litters the forums.

Leaving a message why posts are removed is always the right thing to do. If you do that, none of this happens.

Ok, I apoligise for still getting so off topic, but this is what happens if you hide in the dark and don't say anything! Like I said, I'm not here to start a fight, but I'd appreciate it very much if you actually did better job as an admin (no offense).

The point of the matter is the posts were deleted due to being offensive (in the first instance), and off-topic, having no place being in this topic. Phizzy will be warned about it and any subsequent rule breaking will be dealt with appropriately.

I did not leave a message posted here as it leaves crap on this topic in the same way the original posts did, I'd rather whipe it from the post completely and save everyone else reading the topic from having unrelalted material to skip through.

It is up the the team how the site administration is run, I have always run things as I do and it has worked fine for this long so far, so will continue to do so. A new set of rules will be released soon outlining what is allowed and what isn't, and what actions will be taken should they be broken.

Keep to the rules and we dont have problems.

(k, more -_-)I respect the rules. But please leave messages why posts are removed! If you do, nobody's going to say

Clubsoft: Post removed for being off topic
Somebody: Hey Clubsoft, YOUR post is offtopic! I don't want to read that!

I'm no trying to defy the way things you run things, I'm only trying to give you a good tip. If I recall right, hasn't this been an issue at this board before?

I've never had anyone complain about offensive posts being removed before

I will discuss with the administration team what to do when a post is to be deleted, but its an extra workload on me and the rest of the team to have to give a reason to justify everything that we remove from the site, when the reason is simply going to be that the posts content has broken one the rules, if you so prefer the post can be changed to a Removed message, rather than dissapearing completely, but personally I think it seems unncessisary to have to justify why posts are removed, when the majority of people dont really care in a case like this when its completely out of context.

But as I said, I will discuss this matter with the rest of the admins

(Last off topic post, I promise ) It should't be much of a workload. Even just writing, "Post removed for breaking rules" without any more explanation should be sufficient. And it shouldn't take more than a few seconds. But yeah, please discuss with the rest.

I think the reason you don't get many complaints is that no one notices the posts go missing besides the poster themselves.

And they probably just grumble to themselves rather than actually complaining.
