I played Deus Ex again the past few days. Awesome game.
I thought the theme song would sound cool if someone did an orchestral remake of it rather than the rather MIDIfied sounding MOD track from the original game.

Project Snowblind was intended to be a spin off of Dues Ex; but then Invisible War came out and lots of people didn't like it (I still haven't had a chance to try it). So snowblind became it's own thing. It's probably best that Dues Ex is dead though, as Warren Spector left the studio (He's making games for Disney now or something). The only one's I'd trust to do a good job with Dues Ex 3 would be 2K Bostralia, but that's not gonna happen for obvious reasons.
Kinda concerns me that the Godfather team is supposibly making a sequel to one of my favorite games, System Shock 2. This of course, after Irrational (Name of Bostralia before 2k bought them) went to EA and said "We want to make System Shock 3" and EA said no. Then the 'net went crazy about BioShock and EA decided to shovel the Godfather team to making System Shock 3.
Yeah that annoys me, the deal with System Shock 3. System shock 2 is one of my favourite games too, and EA decide "we're going to hold on to the System Shock name, not make anything decent out of it, but not let anyone else have it".
Have you played Bioshock yet Shab? What did you think of it?
I thought it was friggin amazing. I really liked the idea that you could swap and change your powers and skills at the special machine, rather than having to play the game multiple times to be able to use all the skills and powers. Didn't hurt the replayability IMO, just made the first time play even more varied and interesting.
The bit with Sander Cohen, when he thinks you doubt his artistic ability and sends a horde of spider splicers after you to the sound of Tchiachovski's nutcracker has to be the most absurdly awesome moment in gaming I've come across. I was just thinking "This is completely crazy, I'm doing ballet... and I love it!"
