So far the only sites I know of that offer decent cusomisation over what you get for a relatively low price is PC Specialist ( www.pcspecialist.co.uk )

Basically I've had this PC for around 5 years, and it's now getting to the point where I can only just run flash videos full screen along with MSN (I have a firewall and antivirus running as well)

I'm not going to upgrade this PC as everything would need to be replaced, therefore it's just as easy to get a new PC.

I'm only looking at the moment, but sometime next year (around february or so) I will buy myself the lovely gift of a new pc.

Anybody else have any sites (UK ones, please) that offer customisation of what you can order, and still not cost that much?

Also I would like it for gaming... but I'm not going to get a gaming specific system, as they're expensive and I wouldn't really use it that much.. Just to pass the time every now and then.

Kthx

when you buy legal Windows (especially Vista (especially Super Duper Unlimited Ultimate)) with your computer the price magically doubles and triples.

Oh, and Slink said 2BG RAM! X)

Get to Aria or Planet Micro. Can't fault them guys. If you tell them what you want they'll build it and add a £40-70 building fee.
Or if you're in Lees any day of the year check out Rio Systems, when I did my work experience there they only added £30 building fee.

Either way it'll cheap as chips.

I thought you got an amazing deal Tim. Then I realized you payed £1000, not $1000. Darn currency at different values.

Mine cost 900 Euros, it's slow as shit, had a major hard drive failure twice and doesn't run any recent game.
Not to mention that I bought it only 2 years ago.
