I never really cared for it at all when I was younger, but as the years roll by I find myself slowly becomming more and more interested in it. When I have some extra moeny I'll probably pick up the collection from GAME. Think it's about £15 - well worth it for what you get.
I heard about it every once in a while when I was little... just a few years ago my bro bought it. We never got very far... I bought Riven at goodwill, and maybe played it twice. It's a neat idea, but it never caught my attention very long. It was too hard. I can remember multiple times when people were playing it and it was really coooool...
I recall buying the collection years ago, but I can't find it anywhere. I have my Myst Exile disk though, and I've been playing that. It's awesome. I mean I can see where it requires a very specific taste, but I love the puzzles because you're given absolutely nothing to work with but exploration and maybe a few pages to read. It makes you feel so much more accomplished when you solve puzzles.
Myst - you are so right, only now do i appreciate games like that. How about The 7th Guest, anyone like that? And i remember Return To Zork, the very first PC game i had that came with my dad's 486 Olivetti! Back in "the good old days"....
