All DRM does is punish the people who actually buy the software. The cracked version of spore is safer to use then the DVD version. That said, i could have gotten it DRM free from steam (although steam is just sort of a gamer friendly DRM thing. but at least it only runs when i tell it to and is uninstallable).
Ok I just started a new game on spore... It was pretty much the same as my last game. I'm sick of walking around the planet and eating or befriending stuff. There's not really much to look forward to anymore, it was better the first time when I didn't know what to expect.

Because it wouldn't be much fun? Would be great for half a day or so, then you just realize that you're running around the map, spitting and biting at NPCs.
Heh, but if there were like 40 players playing different tribes on the same planet, would be great.

If i knew about the DRM crap i would have backed up my hard drive before installing.
