Hello, I was very surprised today to see that the stand alone .exe that normally runs fine on my home computer doesn't on another computer. I have cncs232.dll in the folder, and even bass.dll even though my game no longer uses the dmc2 object. Which leads me to the specific error:
Cannot load dmc2.mfx. This object might need an external program or library not yet installed.
Okay, so #1 I took all dmc2 objects and event lines out of my game, and #2 I thought the only external file you needed for a regular standalone (mine has no external files it draws from at runtime)was the cncs232.dll?
How should I fix this? Is it as easy as adding the dmc2.mfx to the game's folder? And also, why would it need it? It's really weird.

Ah ha! So in order for your stand alone .exe to be made correctly I'll need to add the dmc2.mfx to the runtime folder, which will then get embedded to the .exe? (Or something like that?)
I never knew that! Thanks a lot Codemonkey!
