Hi. I have Multimedia Fusion 2 and.. well, I have a request.
I feel I can learn how to make games myself, however, I need someone to help me program the game, because I feel that flash cartoons are all I know about.
The game I want to make is called the Cat Office, an Action-Platformer based off my series of flash cartoons. ( See here,
You play the part of Angel, who went on a walk with her love, Jack. Shadows called Malice swipe Jack away from Angel, and the boss of the Cat Office, Baron, tells her to go across the land to the Malice's howeworld to get Baron back, with the help of some lost souls and her office partners, she must strengthen her psychic powers and learn how to control them.
Basically, I want a person who has some free time and is interested in working with me. I will provide all the sprites, backgrounds, and music if you want help me accomplish this dream. My email address is mariobud@gmail.com.
Contact me if you are interested.
Thanks!

BTW here is the sprites for Angel. It needs sprucing but, I think it will be okay.
I believe that even though that the main character is a pokemon creature, as long as their are other elements, characters, and an all-around different story that has nothing to do with the pokemon universe it is not a pokemon fan game. It is, however, in fact, indeed, indubitably, a fan game to several games.
Right then, let's talk business. Who would like to volunteer to be my programming partner. I can supply the sprites, the script, the backgrounds, the map, and the music. I just need a logical left brain to go with my creative right. And remember, if you help me, I will give all the credit to you, no questions asked. (Except for the graphics, of course, that's mine.)
Ok, tell ya what, when I make the intro sequence of the game, I'll post here again to give you an idea on what the story is, then maybe you guys will be interested.
Eh, I was looking for a game to program just for practice just a few days ago, but I've gone a bit too far already. You should've posted for help last week

Like I said, I'll give the story and maybe, JUST maybe, you may change your mind. Though, I gotta say an admin helping out a newbie like me is a pretty big offer.

I want a full-fledged game, It will have five worlds, three or more levels each, it will have elements like saving your friends and they help you in certain areas so you can get special power-ups and fight ground-breaking bosses.
I know this is asking a lot, but if we put our heads together, we might pull it off.
Let me give you something soon that will change your minds.
You should use those drawing skills on unique characters instead of making games with previously created IP's. It looks pretty good-- and everyone loves a unique character that you made up yourself. Character and universe creation is 3/4ths the fun for me! People don't really like fan games very much. (by definition, that's what this is, since it has a pokemon in it. )

Oh, very. I love that feeling. the feeling you know that it's worth it all in the end.

Dude, this sounds like an awesome project to work on, but I'm at school for 26 credit hours and spend my free time on sleep.
If you're unable to find find another dude to help you out, you can contact me and I'll be able to help out. Albeit, the work would get done slowly, so I hope you can find someone else to meet your needs.
If nothing else, if you end up having to duke it out on your own, I'll be able to point you out in the right direction to learn the simplest, yet most effective coding. Good luck dude.

I do have original characters. Do you see Issac, the brown haired man, Kit, the fox, and Apollo the bird? Those are my characters. I think of the pokemon as more as cameos really but I learned to love them, so decided to make them permanent characters.
Lately, I've been getting a lot of flak for the unoriginality of my Pokemon characters being with my original characters. Personally, I think, as far as character development and personality is concerned, I succeeded where Nintendo failed.
I'll be frank, I know that I'm stealing characters. No problem, I'm down with that. However, I'm taking like, what, three out of over 9000 pokemon? Also, please not that the pokemon in the game have NO personality. They are just collectible pieces of pixels. I made the three characters more three-dimensional and full of personality.
