Alright, this is the end of NGC 1! Unfortunately, only 2 judges finished their reviews in time, however all judges will be recieve 500 points for their participation as a judge.
Unfortunately Tops the pig remake could not be judged because the judges couldn't open it even after multiple tries for whatever reason. Nonetheless, all participants recieve 250 points for their tries.
With that, time for the Scorings from the judges!
--MBK-- (Due to some judging misunderstandings, the scores are abit off.)

Graphics:13/20
Sounds/Music:15/20
Storyline:2/20
Gameplay:9/20
Graphics: The graphics are okay, but they are extremely unpolished. More shading would've helped a lot, plus the tiled pillars don't help it...
Sound/Music: Actually not that bad, about in the middle quality, only a bit better. The sound effects are good, and I kinda like the retro sound to the music.
Storyline: What Storyline?
Gameplay: Just basic and without any challenge... Walk all over the place and get spirits, lose some, touch this magey dude. It can go on forever it feels like. It gets really repetitive after a while.
Graphics: The graphics are fairly decent. What seperates these from many I see, is that it seems like s-m-r didn't try to make the character with defining characteristics. Actually, he doesn't even have a face! But it still all looks good, mainly because by not doing these I believe he was able to focus on more important parts about the characters and enviroments.
Sounds/Music: The Music is okay. I wish it looped from frame to frame, it seems a little noobish without doing this. It's fairly setting. Kinda sounds like the stuff in the old fantasy movies like Sinbad. So, generally fairly good in the music compartment, and the sound effects are okay too.
Storyline: I barely remember it if that says anything. Something about Wizards and such. Okay for an arcade I have to admit. Hey, beat the snot out of Donkey Kongs storyline! It's not terrible, but not very good either.
Gameplay: It's kind of a cat and mouse game. You play the mouse, and the dark spirits are the cats. The cheese is the yellow spirits. You need to collect a bunch of the yelllow spirits and give them to your wizard mentor. IT repeats this format. Eventually it gets fairly challenging as the grey spirits get large in numbers.
Overall: It's not a bad game, but I didn't get much enjoyment from it. I trust it was much better than the original. Wish I could have played it. It's an arcade game, like it's supposed to be. Nothing more unfortunately.

Mr. Pineapple (Demo)

Original
Graphics:2/20
Sounds/Music:18/20
Storyline:1/20
Gameplay:6/20
Graphics: Uh... Not the greatest. A little too much pencil artwork for my taste... Some of the worst I've seen... Some are ripped from Zeb, some are original.
Sound/Music: Actually, even though it has no sound effects, it has great tunes! So it deserves a great 18/20.
Storyline: What Storyline?
Gameplay: Very glitchy! Talk about a bug fest! Default movement anybody? You're on a quest to get to this green bar thingy.
Overall: Uh.. I don't think I've seen much worse... But you know, there is a huge increase in the remake.
Graphics: Not that great, a little mismatched feeling. But that added to the grooviness of the game! Still not terrible, I likey... I enjoyed some of the effects though. Especially during the one level where the sun's brightness actually changes with the level's pieces blocking it. But still, coulda been better.
Sound/Music: GREAT Music! It's not hard to see why Dr. James chose Piney to do music for Tormishire. The tunes are great and very fitting. The sound effects are good too.
Storyline: The only bit of Storyline I found was from the read me, and it helped some. I like the story, but it won't be the game's strength no matter what.
Gameplay: Fun, fun, fun, fun... Very fun game, pretty challenging too. I couldn't help but play to the last level. The greatest feature is the fact you can pick up weapons! I got about two bazooka's throughout the whole game, and I had a blast with them! I couldn't beat the boss though... Maybe Mr. Pineapple should make him easier.
Overall: Good. Actually, Great! A literally HUGE improvement on the original. It's a little unpolished, and still unfinished. The tunes are great, and the gameplay is quite good. I'm waiting for this one to get done.
