Excuse me mr pineapple, unless you were joking around with dr james, I highly think that that comment was innapropriate.
I will have to finish the entire track in one sitting, but what I heard, was fantastic. Regardless of whether it was only a 4? week project, the music is good for any length of time. The musical score fits well within the main theme of the game. Should I ever get the guts to get it it will be an excellent listen. So, enough pampering. Should of had more of "My burough of rocky pinnacles" and "There may be caves to the east" type. Sometimes an exploration game needs a different flavor of music in it. If only to stop the player from falling asleep. I had that trouble with the Myst games alot. Also, I think you did a very good, if accidental slight hommage to the Zelda series with "Summer Day". It reminded me of going through Hyrule or something. However, the song "Ran out of names" could easily be named. Just listen to it and keep with your theme. I would personally call it "Moon Call" or "The song of the moon". Also some of it reminded me of the Homeworld music. Don't know if you ever played that or not. I don't have an ogg player so I have to convert. However, "Island Day" isn't behaving, so I'll have to work on that one later. But my impression overall? A very excellent track written in a short amount of time. I don't see why more people wouldn't download this. Or buy the game. Get it while it's free people!
All platforming problems can be mostly solved here:
It was a 2 week project and the OST took a couple of days. I normally work quicker but I can only usually do music when I'm in the 'zone' or whatever funky old things call it. Glad you like it .
