I noticed after updating Sensou devlog that the most faved projects are counted only from whole first page and about half of second page. So such projects like ACE (which is on second page!) or Tormishire which is somewhere there aren't present on the list.
I don't think about staying on list for a long time but it's list of Top Rated projects so IMHO it should work like in Download Section and not only 2 last weeks best scored games, because it's partially pointless. Maybe make two lists? Top Ten of All time and Recent Top Ten?
Well if a project is completed and it's worthy of faving, it will get a high score in the downloads section. If it's dropped and never resumed, it would be wasteful to have it on the list. It makes sense to me.
It would have sense if it would have a longer time than 2 weeks. Like 2 months or something. Because like for now you have to update frequently devlog even with shit if you want to have any response to it from new users because it's on top faved list all the time.
I does makes sense, you don't have to keep posting devlogs to keep being in the top 10, you need to be at least a entire week without updates to leave the list. If you don't have any updates in one week, it might mean you haven't worked on your project for a while, so I think it's fair. In the other hand it would be unfair if projects with over 15 favs that haven't been worked on for a while or have been finished kept being in the list, taking the place of other projects that are actually being developed.
Projects which where finished should be deleted from Favs list cos it's in download section. But one week period for bigger projects it's almost nothing.
One week is more than enough to post at least one relevant update on your game if you have been working on it regularly.
Projects that don't get regular updates shouldn't be in the list because they are hiding other projects that are actually being regularly updated. That's perfectly fair, and motivates everyone to post updates on their projects.
Also everyone else wants to discover new projects, if it's always the same projects on the list what's the point ?
Yeah, it makes sense to me too. If you don't update anything for 2 weeks, you're obviously not eager to hog the spotlight. Let someone else have it till you're actively working on your game again
