Hey

Just wondering if anyone knows if MMF2 is fully functional on a 64 big OS... To be more specific, Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit X) I know it's not actually out yet, so no one will probably know for sure but just askin' anyway...

note: sorry if this is a silly question, I've never delt with 64 Bit before and just need a little help regarding compatibility and such.

I certainly won't take advantage of it yet.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work though.

Windows Vista and Windows 7 are very similar. Windows 7 is cleaned up and optimized more. Before Vista even came out, a bunch of us, myself concluded, provided a ton of support to Clickteam and helped iron out almost all the Vista issues. Did the same with Windows 7 when I first got the beta. As far as 64x goes, it's existed long before Vista and Windows 7 with Windows XP, so even though it's not an officially supported 64x program, it's certainly one of those "32bit programs that run fine on 64bit."

I would assume the problems i had were related to it being tha 7 beta i tested on then, or the specific system being incompatible.

Either way, good to hear!

I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit, legally. And MMF2 Dev runs perfectly.

I pre-ordered Windows 7 Professional for $30 using my student discount. I have a hard copy coming to me in the mail, but I can download it on the 22nd. I rarely use the RC I'm dual booting because I can't be bothered to reinstall everything, only to reformat and start all over again in less than 2 weeks.
